Tarḫuntaradu
Tarḫuntaradu ( Luwian : "admirer of Tarḫunt ") was a king of Arzawa during the first half of the 14th century BC. Under his rule, Arzawa was able to penetrate far into the realm of the Hittites , weakened by the incursions of the Kaškaers , and to take territories in the "Lower Land" ( Lycaonia ), and he was able to penetrate to the Hittite city of Tuwanuwa . He negotiated with the Egyptian pharaoh Amenophis III. and gave him one of his daughters for marriage.
It is uncertain whether Mašḫuiluwa the rightful heir to the throne of Arzawa and his brother Uḫḫaziti sons of Tarḫuntaradu.
