Tarascht

Tarascht (also Tarasht ; persian طرشت) is a very old district in the west of Tehran . In the north it borders on the Aryaschahr district , in the west on the Jenah Expressway , in the south on Azadi Ave. and to the east to the Towhid district .

The Sharif University of Technology , one of the most important universities in the country, is located in Tarasht.

Azadi Square is located in the southwest of the district .
