Tasnim News Agency ( Persian : خبرگزاری تسنیم) is a news agency in Iran . The privately operating agency has existed since 2012 and wants to reflect the diversity of political, social, economic and international issues in Iran. All content is licensed as Creative Commons . Like the state news agency Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), it is also subject to extensive censorship by the Iranian state.

The declared goals of the TNA are "to protect the Islamic Republic against negative media propaganda and to provide readers with real information on Iran and Islam."

Tasnim has had its main office in the Iranian capital Tehran since 2014 and a reporter network throughout the country.

An April 2020 report by the US Anti-Defamation League indicates that Iranian sources, including Tasnim, are spreading conspiracy theories on the global COVID-19 pandemic . Accordingly, use Israel and the Jews for their alleged goal of gaining world domination. Tasnim called the pandemic a "biological attack by the US and the Zionist regime".
