Kuang Si (other spellings Kuang Xi or Kouang Si ), also known as fact Kuang Si ( Lao ຕາດ ກວາງ ຊີ ; indeed stands in Lao for waterfall), is a multi-stage waterfall in the province of Luang Prabang in Laos . It is located about 30 km southwest of the city of Luang Prabang in the Tat Kuang Si Park nature reserve and is one of the main tourist attractions in the region.

Starting from shallow pools, the main waterfall plunges approx. 60 meters over karst rocks . In the further course, sintered terraces and turquoise-blue pools formed due to the very calcareous water .

The Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Center of the Free the Bears Fund has been located in the park since 2003 , a shelter for the endangered collarbear .
