The Taubensee is a natural lake with silting moor near Haiming in the municipality of Obing . Karl Gripp and Edith Peters speak of the Taubensee depression as a drainage possibility for the Schnaitsee-Scheitzenberg glacier tongue of the Chiemsee glacier in the direction of Pittenhart.
The waters III. Order has no drainage and has a surface area of 3.50 hectares.
