Taut price

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Taut Prize has been awarded since 2001 in memory of the architects Bruno and Max Taut by the Federal Chamber of Architects and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM). It is the most highly endowed German award for young architects. The number of prizes rose from two to three in 2002 and four from 2003 onwards. It provides the winners with a stipend of 2,050 euros per month for a maximum of one year.

In 2008, the award was suspended due to funding problems.
