Taxi Today ( spelling : taxi today) is an IVW- tested specialist magazine for taxi and rental car companies from the Huss publishing house in Munich, published eight times a year . The title was founded in 1978 by publisher Wolfgang Huss in Munich. The printed trade magazine has also been available as a magazine app since 2013.
Expert choice "Taxi of the year"
Taxi Today has been holding the “Taxi of the Year” expert poll every two years since 2011. Taxi entrepreneurs drive the latest taxi models in the industry for two days to test and evaluate them in detail in several vehicle categories. They judge the vehicles according to aspects that are important for taxi operators, taxi drivers and passengers. The main criteria are economy , functionality , comfort and emotion. The grades range from 1 (for “very good”) to 4 (for “not suitable for a taxi”). All models that perform best in these criteria and in the vehicle categories are allowed to carry the title “Taxi of the Year”. In 2017, for the first time, “The Best Taxi” was also determined, which achieved the best average rating across all criteria. At this event, 41 taxi entrepreneurs rated 21 test vehicles from compact limousines to SUVs to large-capacity vans-based taxis.
