Tayport Castle is an abandoned low castle in Tayport in the Scottish county of Fife .
The castle with a Z-shaped floor plan, which covered an area of about 12 meters × 12 meters and had round towers with a diameter of 7.8 meters on the southeast and northwest corners, is mentioned in a document in 1588.
In 1854 the vaulted cellar of the castle was still in use as a storage room. Then it was torn down. Today there are no more remains above ground.
