Team-Ulm.de is an online magazine with its own online community , editorial and photo editorial reporting , event information, location guide and information about current cinema events. The content of the site is geared towards the greater Ulm area for young people and adults between 15 and 35 years of age.

history

Team-Ulm was founded at the beginning of January 2000 by a student and a community service provider as a website that listed information on events in Ulm and contained small interactive modules. Since the number of visitors grew beyond the originally closed user group within a few months, the site was expanded into a public online magazine .

In autumn 2001 the area of party photography and cultural reporting was added. In September 2002 the user registration and the associated online community was realized. Further interactive sections such as an online flea market, a contact exchange, the possibility of sending messages directly via the page and a forum followed. The editorial areas and the location guide have also been expanded. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 Team-Ulm broadcast the oath of the mayor of Ulm live on the internet.

The site was operated on a voluntary basis from the start and is now guaranteed by around 65 volunteer employees. The necessary financial resources are secured through the sale of advertising space, own events and sponsors. Team-Ulm.de has been marked in youth protection according to ICRA since January 2006 .

In the meantime, user activity on Team Ulm has decreased significantly. Of the 550,000 registered users, rarely more than 0.1% are online at peak times. (As of December 2013)

statistics

At times over 11,000 registered users were online at Team-Ulm.de at the same time. According to its own information, the site has 605,000 (as of December 1, 2015) registered user accounts. Around three million logins and around 300 million page views were recorded every month (as of August 2008). On average, 30 private messages were sent via the site every second.

The majority of users come from the greater Ulm area or have a connection to it.
