The Teatr X is a neo-Renaissance building in Gliwice (Gleiwitz) at ul. Wrocławska (Wroclaw road) and ul. Marcina Strzody (ehem. Bielsko Str.), Opposite the Plac Krakowski .

history

The building was built before 1890 and served as a hotel and restaurant and was initially called "Gold Mine".

In 1900 the owner of the hotel changed and a theater was set up in the building. In 1914 the owner changed again and the inn was renamed "Four Seasons" and the interior was redesigned.

In 1926 the hotel business was stopped and the building continued to be used as a restaurant.
