The Tece GmbH , based in North Rhine-Westphalia Emsdetten is the parent company of Tece group. Tece operates globally - 22 subsidiaries and other sales partners take care of international sales. Tece is a manufacturer and supplier of building technology systems: flushing and pre-wall technology , drainage and separation technology, pipe systems. These products are brought together via the specialist wholesalers and specialist tradesmen to create bathrooms and complete building services solutions.
history
The company was founded in 1986 by Gerd and Thomas Fehlings under the name "TC-Thermconcept" in Emsdetten. It was one of the pioneers of plastic pipe installation systems at that time. Pre-wall technology followed in 1996, and flushing technology in 2001. In 2005, Tece took over Basika Entwässerungstechnik GmbH & Co KG, Wuppertal, and since then has also been offering drainage and separation technology , especially made of stainless steel.
The managing directors André Welle, Hans-Joachim Sahlmann and Michael Freitag have been responsible for the Tece Group since 2015.
Group of companies
The corporate headquarters are in Emsdetten. The administration, a customer and training center as well as research and development are housed here. The Tece Group has 22 subsidiaries and branches worldwide. Tece produces in five plants, two of them in Germany (Emsdetten and Wuppertal). The family company says it has an export quota of 55 percent.
