The German Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework place the successful completion of the technical school on the same level as an academic bachelor's degree at the college or university.

history

It was founded in 1966 as a part-time school for mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering was added two years later. The great response led to a conversion to a full-time school in 1971, and the field of construction engineering has been supplementing the continuing education offer since 1975.
