Technical delivery conditions (Bundeswehr)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Technical delivery conditions of the Bundeswehr regulate the specifications of products used for defense purposes.

The technical delivery conditions are issued by the Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and Use of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) and are based on DIN 820 . They set binding requirements for procurement that armaments companies must comply with.

Technical delivery conditions contain, among other things, technical and technical-organizational requirements such as performance and procurement features of the defense material to be delivered, quality assurance , packaging , usage rights and manufacturer ties (procurement information) as well as the services associated with them.

A large part of the technical delivery conditions can be freely accessed online. Technical delivery conditions for weapons , ammunition and other security-sensitive defense products are an exception for reasons of security .
