Technosoft (also: TecnoSoft , jap. 株式会社 テ ク ノ ソ フ ト , Kabushiki kaisha Tekunosofuto ) is a former Japanese development studio for video games . The company's best-known games include Herzog Zwei - one of the first real-time strategy games - and the " Shoot 'em up " series Thunder Force .

In 2001 the company was bought by Twenty-one Company and incorporated into their R&D department.
