Matthias Gohl

Matthias Gohl ( Teese Gohl , Tisse Gohl ; * 1956 ) is a Swiss film music producer and composer.

Gohl produced the film music for numerous films by Elliot Goldenthal (including Titus , The Butcher Boy , Interview with a Vampire , Heat , Alien³ ). He also produced film music for Carly Simon and David A. Stewart and the Oscar- winning music for the film The Red Violin by John Corigliano .

He composed a. a. the music for documentaries by Ken Burns ( The West , Frank Lloyd Wright ), Mickey Lemles Ram Dass, Fierce Grace , Alex Halpern's Nine Good Teeth and the television series Little Einsteins . In 2004 he wrote the Music For a Film to Be Done for the Munich Radio Orchestra . In 2005 he was nominated for an Emmy Award ( Outstanding Music Direction ) for Broadway: The American Musical .
