The house Burggraben 25 is part of the Kesselshof in the Bensberg district of Bergisch Gladbach . The Kesselshof consisted of several buildings at Burggraben 9-25a. Around 1700 they were owned by the knightly von Bottlenberg family , also known as the Kessel . They were ducal tax officials in the Porz office. Already in the 12th century they were ministerials of the first Bergisch count house . In the 13th century they were Burgmannen at Bensberg Castle . In 1827, the Prussian original cadastre lists a one and a half-story half-timbered house no.25 owned by the tailor Mathias Bachem.
