Telefon Ridge is a ridge on Deception Island in the South Shetland Islands with a maximum height of 265 m . It looms west of Telefon Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 in connection with the bay of the same name after the SS Telefon , a cargo steamer built in 1900 under the Norwegian flag, which ran on a reef off King George Island in 1908 .
