Televisions - The world of television is a German television broadcast .

The aim of the documentary series was to explain how television works and how images and sounds are transmitted from the transmitter to the television at home. The complex technology of analog transmission was conveyed to a broad audience in an understandable way through extensive experiments .

The programs were written and moderated by Jean Pütz ; it was broadcast in 1978 on WDR in 7 episodes of 45 minutes each.
