history
The Tellermine 35 (steel) was introduced in 1937 as an anti-tank mine in the Wehrmacht. It was used until the end of World War II. The successor was the Tellermine 42, introduced in 1942 .
functionality
The mine, which was covered or placed openly, triggered when the lid was pressed. It differed from the plate mine 35 by a modified pressure plate. Additional draft fuses in the side and in the bottom of the mine as well as relief fuses were responsible for securing recovery. A load of 210 kilograms was necessary to trigger the mine.
