Vowels in Temne

The Temne (also Themne or Timne ) is the language of the Temne and is an Atlantic-Congo language spoken by over 1.85 million native speakers in Sierra Leone (as of 2015), i.e. about 26.5 percent of the population .

It is used as an administrative language in several districts of the country.

Temne is related to the Baga languages spoken in Guinea .
