Temps mill

The listed Temps Mühle is located in Calvörde on the street named after it, Temps Mühle 2.

Architecture and history

The building was built in 1857 by the Calvörde family Temps. It was in operation until 1955. It was then rebuilt and now functions as a residential building. In terms of its design, it is a tower Dutch windmill (conical). Today it is one of the few surviving tower windmills in the state of Saxony-Anhalt . Today the Temps mill is also a monument to the history of business and technology.
