Tequila Corralejo

Tequila Corralejo is an award-winning alcoholic drink from the Tequilera Corralejo, SA de CV The production facility, also known as Hacienda Corralejo , was built in 1775 by Pedro Sánchez de Tagle and was one of the first commercially producing distilleries for tequila . The area open to the public is now also home to the Museo del Vino y la Botella , the wine and bottle museum . The products of Casa Corralejo are listed by the Mexican supervisory authority CRT under the designations NOM 1368 and DOT 127.

Tequila Corralejo is available in the usual Blanco , Reposado and Añejo varieties , as well as in the special forms Triple Distilled (Reposado) and Gran Corralejo (Añejo).

Awards at the Spirits World Cup

Various products from Tequila Corralejo have been recognized at the annual World Spirits Championships in recent years:

  • In 2005 the Corralejo triple distilled was awarded the silver medal.
  • In 2006 the Corralejo añejo won a double gold medal.
  • In 2007 the Corralejo reposado received the double gold medal.
  • In 2008 the Corralejo blanco was awarded the gold medal.
