Terence McCloy

Terence McCloy (also Terrence McCloy , * 1940 or 1941 in Calgary , Canada ) appeared only once as a screenwriter and was awarded an Oscar in the category Best Original Screenplay for his work on Lady Sings the Blues in 1973 together with Chris Clark and Suzanne De Passe nominated. The film was directed by Sidney J. Furie and was about the life of Billie Holiday , portrayed by Diana Ross . McCloy had been commissioned to write the script in 1970.

In the 2000s he appeared as president of the iBoycott organization. At the beginning of the 21st century it tried to establish a new political party with the so-called SuperParty. This also launched a campaign against NBC Universal in 2007 , as iBoycott believed it had insufficiently reported the crisis in Sudan in connection with the persecution of Christians through its various media .
