Teresė Žižienė

Teresė Žižienė (born January 19, 1933 in Kaunas , Lithuania ) is an honorary citizen of the Jonava district .

Life

After graduating from high school, Teresė Žižienė studied medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas in 1957 . From 1957 to 1960 she worked as a pediatrician in the hospital of the Kaunas Rajonggemeinde , in 1961 she taught at the Kaunas Medical School as an internist , from 1962 to 1965 she headed the school's classroom studies, and from 1965 to 1970 she worked as a subdivision manager of the 3rd Kaunas Hospital. In 1974 she did her doctorate on Franko ir IT Akuliničevo vektorkardiografinių sistemų diagnostinė vertė esant širdies skilvelių hipertrofijai . Žižienė has been teaching at the Kauno medicinos akademija since 1994 .

In 1991, Žižienė founded and since 1992 has been head of the Bukonys ambulance in the Jonava district .

She is married. She lives in Birštonas with her husband Viktoras .
