Honorary citizen of the Jonava district
Honorary citizen of the Rajongemeinde Jonava ( lit.Jonavos rajono garbės pilietis ) is the highest award given by the Rajongemeinde Jonava for a personality who has made an outstanding contribution to the well-being of the citizens or the reputation of the place. So far, 9 people have been awarded. All of them come from the community or have worked in Jonava for many years . Two of them ( managers ) had leading positions at the chemical company " Achema ", three were politicians , two doctors, two writers (both writers and translators at the same time).
