Uwe Röhrhoff

Uwe Röhrhoff (* 1962 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German manager. From 2010 to August 31, 2017, he was CEO of the pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer Gerresheimer .

Röhrhoff studied business administration at the University of Cologne and graduated with a degree in business administration. He began his professional career in the finance department of Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH in Mönchengladbach. In 1991 he started in controlling at the container glass manufacturer Gerresheimer. In 1996 he was sent to the USA to set up the local business. From 1998 he headed the container glass division internationally. He successfully renovated the Gerresheimer plant in Tettau in Upper Franconia. Since 2001 he has headed the entire international glass division. From 2001 to 2010 he was head of the US subsidiary Gerresheimer Glass Inc . Since 2003 he has been on the Management Board of Gerresheimer AG, particularly responsible for the areas of container glass (molded glass) and laboratory glass (tubular glass). In 2010 he resigned from responsibility for laboratory glassware and became the new CEO in place of Axel Herberg . In addition, he was also chairman and member of the supervisory board of various subsidiaries. He left Gerresheimer at the end of August 2017.

From January 15 to early October 2018, he was President and CEO of the Irish pharmaceutical company Perrigo .
