Teresa del Riego

Teresa Clotilde del Riego (married: Teresa Leadbitter ; born April 7, 1876 in London ; † January 23, 1963 ibid) was an English pianist, violinist and composer of Spanish descent.

Del Riego studied with Paolo Tosti . During the Second World War, she appeared at events in favor of British participation in the war. She composed more than three hundred songs and ballads, of which O Dry Those Tears (1901) and Homing (1917) were particularly successful.
