Terje Scheie was part of the Norwegian national team in the second half of the 1990s. He took part in the skeleton world championships three times . In 1995 he was 33rd on his home track in Lillehammer , 37th in Calgary in 1996 and 11th in Lake Placid in 1997 . In addition, he took part in World Cup races several times between 1996 and 1998 without winning any World Cup points. Nationally he was Norwegian champion in 1997 and in 1998 behind Håvard Engelien and at the same time with Snorre Pedersen runner-up.
