Terra Natura Benidorm

The 32 hectare park was opened to visitors in March 2005.

The park is divided into four subject areas: Pangea, the origin of the planet, serves as the entrance area. It is overlooked by a large volcano , next to which there are huge metal insect sculptures. From there you can “travel” to America , Asia and Europe . There is also the Mare nostrum water area .

Each area of Terra Natura represents a certain natural element: "Pangea" the fire, "America" the air, "Asia" the earth and "Europe" the water. Park visitors can take a aerial view of the flora and fauna of the various continents with a cable car.

Around 1500 animals of around 200 different species live in the park area, including at least fifty species that are threatened with extinction. There are also 2500, sometimes very impressive, specimens of more than 160 tree, shrub and creeper species in the Valencia region .
