Terra plana

Terra plana is a Swiss and Liechtenstein magazine for culture , history , tourism and business . It was published from 1970 to 2000 by an affiliated publisher of the same name and has been published by Sarganserländer Druck AG since 2000 . The magazine is distributed in the Sarganserland , Werdenberg , Obertoggenburg , Liechtenstein , Bündner Herrschaft and Gaster . Thematically, Terra plana relates to regional topics and the stories of the residents who live there.

In its first three years, until 1973, Terra plana appeared twice a year; since 1974 there have been four issues per year. From 1974 to 1982 Liechtenstein had its own regional editorial office.

Terra plana was initiated by Anton Stucky, who together with Walter Kranz and Hans Rhyner also formed the first editorial team until 1973. After that, there were numerous changes in management until 1978, until Josef Tschirky took over in 1978. The financing of the Terra plana done by subscriber contributions and advertisements, which in 2008 was the support at 2,127 copies.
