Terumichi Yamada

Terumichi Yamada ( Japanese 山田 晃 路 , Yamada Terumichi ; * 1953 in Kanazawa ) is a Japanese jazz musician ( double bass ).

Yamada worked in the Japanese jazz scene from the 1970s with Junko Mine / Hidehiko Matsumoto , in whose big band production Junko and Sleepy - I Wish You Love he was involved. From the 1980s he was active in the Yasuhiro Kohno Trio, to be heard on the albums Peace (1983) and Roma in the Rain (1984). In the 2000s he played with Takashi Amano ( Dedications , 2008) and the Nobumasa Tanaka Kartell ( Edge , 2006). With his formation Terumichi Yamada Magicas Musica he recorded the album A Million Thanks in 2009 . In the field of jazz he was involved in five recording sessions between 1978 and 2009.
