The Teslim Balogun Stadium is a multifunctional stadium in Surulere , Lagos , Nigeria . It is mainly used for soccer matches and serves as the home stadium of First Bank FC. It has a capacity of 24,325 seats and is also used for international matches. It was once used as the final stadium of the Nigeria Federation Cup just before it hosted the games of the 2009 U-17 World Cup , which was being held in Nigeria. Most Nigerian stadiums allow more spectators in the stadium than the official capacity allows. The Abuja National Stadium is located near the stadium .
