Tessa van Dijk

Tessa van Dijk (born February 23, 1986 in Aalsmeer ) is an all-rounder speed skating specialist in medium and long distance .

Tessa van Dijk made her debut in December 2005 at the pre-Olympic World Cup in Turin . She immediately achieved a respectable success in the B group, but has not yet qualified for an Olympic event. At the post-Olympic World Cup in Heerenveen and the first World Cup of the 2006/07 season, she again attracted attention with good placements within the points. At the second World Cup of the season, she achieved a place in the top ten for the first time. Van Dijk is two-time Dutch runner-up and two-time team junior world champion (2004 and 2005). In the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons van Dijk was unable to build on their previous successes.
