TestComplete is test automation software developed by SmartBear Software.
TestComplete enables the tester to write automated tests for applications on the Windows , Android , iOS operating systems as well as for web applications .
Tests can be recorded or created by writing scripts .
TestComplete is divided into 3 modules:
- Desktop
- Web
- mobile
Each module contains the functionality that is required to generate the automatic tests on this platform.
Architecture and functionality
TestComplete is a toolset for test management, test design, test execution and test data generation for functional and regression tests. TestComplete consists of:
- the TestComplete program, it serves as the command center for the creation of the TestSuite.
- TestLeft, which helps developers to write tests directly from the IDE
- TestExecute, which executes the test cases after creation (if necessary on several machines) and saves the results and exports them as XML, MHT or HTML if desired. Reference is made to the cooperation with common tools such as Jenkins , Bugzilla , Jira , Git , Selenium , SVN , SoapUI and QAComplete.
