from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The test for master’s courses in economics and social sciences (TM-WISO) is a subject-specific aptitude test or study aptitude test to determine competencies that are important for successfully completing a master’s degree in economics and social sciences. The TM-WISO was developed in 2009 on the basis of a requirements analysis by the University of Hamburg and ITB Consulting GmbH and made available to other universities from 2011. The test development is based on the standards of psychological aptitude diagnostics , as described in DIN 33430 , among others .

The TM-WISO can be carried out in German or English on one of five test dates. Participation costs 100 euros and is possible once per calendar year. The implementation time is about 4 hours. The test takes place as an online test under supervision.
