Test area

A test area is a larger area on the earth's surface on which

  1. bio- or geoscientific experiments are carried out,
  2. Trends in vegetation or wildlife are observed under different conditions,
  3. the functionality of monitoring methods is tested,
  4. or experiments on a larger scale.
