Tetsuo Kagawa

Tetsuo Kagawa ( Japanese 香 川 哲男 , Kagawa Tetsuo ; * 1969 ) is a Japanese amateur astronomer and asteroid explorer .

He works at the Gekkō Observatory ( IAU code 888). In addition to his independent discoveries, he devotes himself to post-processing the data collected at the Nihondaira Observatory ( IAU code 385). This work has led to the discovery of a total of 114 asteroids to date, 17 of them in collaboration with his colleague Takeshi Urata .

The asteroid (6665) Kagawa was named after him.
