Text science
As text science any special science can be understood in general to their objects texts belong.
Above all, that would be: linguistics , literary studies , law , rhetoric , stylistics , theology . Each of these sciences has its particular points of view that interest it in texts. Linguistics as examined, especially as text linguistics , the properties that a word as a linguistic unit or full sequence "stick together" and - in contrast to a collage can appear - words or phrases.
The literature in turn is interested in, among other things for the aesthetic qualities or even the original form of texts.
In a special understanding thinks Text science but to unite those interested in science texts to a common scientific discipline in which the different interests are merged (Bussmann) a proposal.
