Known Uses
The two most famous musicians who used this name were Riley Puckett and Hugh Cross , who released some of their duets together as The Alabama Barnstormers . However, most of their joint productions, such as the 1927 hit Red River Valley , appeared under their real names.
The old-time duo Darby and Tarlton used the name Alabama Barn Stormers for their recording of Little Bessie , which they made in Atlanta , Georgia , on October 31, 1929 , for the overseas releases in Great Britain and Australia , distributed by Regal-Zonophone were. The original single (Columbia D-15492) appeared under its real name.
Other uses
The Regal-Zonophone Record Company continued to use the name The Alabama Barn Stormers or simply Alabama Barnstormers for the following performers, whose works were also published overseas (the label pressed different artists on the A and B sides, but published them both under the Names Alabama Barn Stormers ):
