The Architecture Foundation

The Architecture Foundation (AF) is the first independent architecture center of the United Kingdom , based in London .

The non-profit organization advocates a new look at architecture and urban planning in London, for which it supports the young architects at the beginning of their careers and offers a platform for the best architects from all over the world to work on a future concept for London to contribute. Furthermore, the public, especially the residents of London, is to be informed about the urban history of the city as well as of individual buildings. B. 2017 a free app was published. The AF was initially rented in The Economist Building , changed its seat (and venue) several times, partly due to financial problems in 2014, and is now at home in the Royal College of Art , where public exhibitions, campaigns, debates and architectural competitions are held. 120 events were held in 2018.
