The Astronomy and Astrophysics Review , or Astron for short . Astrophys. Rev., or A&AR , is a scientific journal that publishes review articles on all areas of astronomy and astrophysics. The areas covered also include the physics of cosmic rays, studies of the solar system, astrobiology, developments in laboratory or particle physics directly related to astronomy, instrument development, computational and statistical methods with special applications in astronomy, and other topics relevant to Astronomy and astrophysics.
A&AR has been published annually with one volume since 1989. The articles can also be accessed electronically. In 2013, the Impact Factor was 13,312, according to the Institute for Scientific Information's Journal Citation Reports .
