The Australian Financial Review is Australia's leading business newspaper . The newspaper is published Monday through Saturday by Fairfax Media .

history

In August 1951, the Australian Financial Review was founded as a weekly newspaper. From October 1961 it was sold twice a week and from 1963 daily. The Australian Financial Review Magazine was launched in February 1995 , followed by a website that same year.

In 2007 the website was redesigned and now has to be paid for by its readers. In addition, an investment website called AFR Market Wrap was set up a little later .

ideology

Since the 1970s the newspaper has stood for economic liberalism and favors as little political interference as possible in economic affairs, privatization, lower taxes and freedom of trade. However, the columns that are published in the newspaper are much wider.

The AFR is also simply called Fin or Fin Review for short . Information can be received via satellite via MIS Australia, Asset and CFO.
