Carl Haniel

Carl Alex Haniel (born November 19, 1811 in Ruhrort ; † March 28, 1861 ) was a German entrepreneur .

Live and act

He was the son of Gerhard Haniel and a nephew of Franz Haniel . From 1834 to 1861 he headed the steelworks union and the Jacobi, Haniel & Huyssen business .
