The Black Dwarf

The Black Dwarf (dt. The Black Dwarf ) was a political newspaper that, between May 1968 and 1972 by a socialist collective in the UK was published.

In 1970 the editorial team split. Leninist workers for whom the paper was not radical enough, including members of the International Marxist Group , split from The Black Dwarf and founded the Red Mole newspaper .

Employees of the newspaper were u. a. Tariq Ali , Clive Goodwin , Robin Fior , David Mercer , Mo Teitlebaum , Douglas Gill , Adrian Mitchell , Sheila Rowbotham , Bob Rowthorn , Sean Thompson , Roger Tyrrell and Fred Halliday .

The Black Dwarf was named after a satirical magazine of the same name , which appeared from 1817 to 1824.
