The Boy Least Likely To is a UK based twee pop / indie rock duo consisting of Pete Hobbs (composer, music) and Jof Owen (lyrics, vocals).
history
Owen and Hobbs grew up in the same village, Wendover in Buckinghamshire . They have known each other since high school and even then wrote songs together and founded some less successful bands. It wasn't until they recorded their own songs together that their success as a band worked.
Owen and Hobbs founded their own label (Too Young To Die) to produce their music. Their first single was called Paper Cuts and was released in 2004, and in the summer of 2005 their first album The Best Party Ever hit record stores in the UK. It came out in the US in the spring of the following year after touring there as the opening act for James Blunt .
