The Braidwood Dispatch and Mining Journal was the name of an English language newspaper in the town of Braidwood , New South Wales , Australia .

The newspaper existed from 1858 to January 1958. In July 1912, following an article in Popular Mechanics , the newspaper was one of the first to publish a report on the relationship between carbon dioxide produced by burning coal and global warming .
