The Catherine Tate Show is a British comedy series that aired on BBC Two from 2004 to 2006 . The main actress Catherine Tate writes the skits herself.
The series' first season consisted of six episodes that aired from February to March 2004. The accompanying DVD was released in August 2005. The second season was broadcast from July to August 2005. A Christmas special of the series aired on December 20, 2005 on BBC Two. The third and final season aired from October 26 to November 30, 2006. Two more Christmas specials followed on December 25, 2007 and December 25, 2009.
Kirsty MacColl wrote the theme song for the first season.
