The Daily Graphic is an English-language Ghanaian daily newspaper and the flagship of the Accra-based Graphic Communications Group (GCGL) publications. The paper has a circulation of 100,000 copies, making it the highest-circulation newspaper in Ghana. It appears six times a week. The publishing house was founded in 1950 under the leadership of the London Daily Mirror . During the military rule of Jerry Rawlings , the newspaper was briefly renamed People's Daily Graphic .

In 1962 the government of Ghana took over the newspaper publisher, which now includes The Mirror , Graphic Sports , Graphic Showbiz , Junior Graphic , Graphic Advertiser , Graphic Business and Nsɛmpa in addition to the Daily Graphic . After the takeover, the company was later converted into a public corporation in 1965 , in which the state holds 100% shares.

Over time, the company introduced modern printing technology. It was the first to introduce web offset and photo typesetting in Ghana. The newspaper now has a computerized editorial system and the most modern printing plant in Ghana.

Quite a few of the newspaper's journalists have already received the Journalist of the Year Award several times , once for Ghana. In 2005, the company also received the prestigious GJA Award for Newspapers for producing with the best designs and layouts.

In addition to the main editorial office in the capital Accra, there are various regional offices.
