The Dirty Mac was a supergroup that came together in December 1968 to record the Rolling Stones' television special, " Rock and Roll Circus " . The group played the Beatles piece Yer Blues for the recording , and with Yoko Ono and violinist Ivri Gitlis the song Her Blues was created in a jam session , the title of which was later changed to Whole Lotta Yoko for the album .

Except for the recordings that took place on December 10th and 11th, 1968, this formation never played together again. As a by-product, the musicians' appearances were also recorded for a soundtrack album, which was only released in 1996.
