The Fenderman was an American R&B band.

history

Sundquist and Humphrey, who each had their own band in the late 1950s, merged in 1959 and named this guitar duo The Fenderman . The band's name came from the Fender brand guitar played by both of them . They had their only chart success in 1960 with the song Mule Skinner Blues written by Jimmie Rodgers in 1930 .
